The Dave Smith Prophet Rev2 is a potent 16-voice polyphonic analog synth. It is the Prophet ’08’s replacement, keeping its essential elements while adding more polyphony and modulation options. Each voice has four LFOs, two DCOs, and a Curtis low-pass filter. The Rev2 produces rich, adaptable analog sounds that are appropriate for any musical style, from aggressive leads to warm pads, thanks to its dedicated effects per-layer, polyphonic step sequencer, and arpeggiator.
