The Yamaha Motif ES8 is a 88-key weighted-action music production synthesizer workstation introduced in 2004. By doubling the waveform ROM and improving AWM2 synthesis, it improved the Motif series and produced even more lifelike sounds. Known for its enhanced Phrase Factory arpeggiator, expanded polyphony, and smooth integration with computer DAWs, the ES8 was a powerful tool for producers and professional musicians. It also provided expressive control, a full-featured sequencer, and robust sampling.
