The Yamaha C7X SH2 is a premium semi-concert grand piano that combines the acoustic excellence of the CX Series with a factory-installed SH2 SILENT Piano™ system. Its acoustic foundation features a thickened back frame, a specialized 3D crown soundboard, and premium hammer felt derived from the flagship CFX concert grand for rich resonance and complex overtones. When silent mode is activated, a patented mechanism stops the hammers from striking the strings, allowing private practice through headphones without altering the authentic touch of the keys. The digital engine delivers high-definition binaural samples of the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grands alongside modern features like Bluetooth audio and Smart Pianist app compatibility.
