The Pioneer DDJ-SP1 is an add-on DJ sub-controller made to improve Serato DJ Pro performance. It has 16 velocity-sensitive performance pads that can be used to activate Slicer functions, loops, samples, and hot cues. For DJs using mixers or other controllers, it offers tactile control over sophisticated software features without requiring the use of a laptop, thanks to dedicated controls for Serato DJ’s iZotope FX, a sampler volume fader, and library Browse.
