Released in 1998, the 61-key Roland XP-60 music workstation built on the success of the XP-50. It shares the same robust JV-2080 sound engine, providing 64-voice polyphony and a large collection of high-quality sounds that can be expanded using SR-JV80 expansion boards. It has an improved 16-track sequencer with onboard effects, an arpeggiator, and sophisticated editing features. The XP-60 was a powerful and adaptable instrument made for live performance as well as professional studio production.
