In 2017, Roland’s flagship 88-key stage piano, the RD-2000, was released. It has two sound engines: a SuperNATURAL engine for expressive electric pianos and more than 1,100 other sounds, and a dedicated V-Piano engine for remarkably lifelike acoustic pianos. Its high-end PHA-50 Hybrid Keyboard creates the feel of a real grand piano. It is an effective tool for both live performance and studio production, thanks to its many real-time controls and high-resolution USB audio/MIDI interface.
