The Roland JUNO-60 is a highly regarded 61-key analog polyphonic synthesizer that was first released in September 1982. It typically has a dark gray or black finish and distinctive orange and white buttons. It is well-known for its warm, rich sound, especially because of its steady digitally controlled oscillators (DCOs) and vintage analog chorus effect. It was a key instrument for 80s pop, new wave, and electronic music despite not having MIDI. It had a DCB connector and patch memory storage, which was a major improvement over the Juno-6.
