Launched in 2015, the Roland JD-XA is a unique 49-key “crossover” synthesizer with a glossy black design and eye-catching red backlighting. It combines a four-part, 64-voice digital sound engine (SuperNATURAL) with a four-part true analog synthesis engine in a unique way. In this way, digital sounds can be routed through analog filters for autonomous use or creative interaction. In addition, it has a microphone input with a vocoder, multi-effects, and a 16-track pattern sequencer.
