The Ovation MM68AX Acoustic Mandolin is a special instrument that combines Ovation’s distinctive design with the sound of a traditional mandolin. For comfortable playability and feedback resistance, it has a super shallow Lyrachord® bowl back and a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing. It is perfect for stage performance because it has an OCP-1K pickup and an OP-Pro preamp, which produce a clear, articulate amplified tone. It is a flexible option due to its classic mandolin voice and contemporary appearance.
