The Native Instruments Maschine Mikro is a compact, USB-powered hardware and software system for creating and performing music, primarily beats and melodic loops. In addition to a Smart Strip for dynamic control, it has sixteen large, velocity-sensitive pads for drumming, melodic playing, and chord construction. It is a flexible tool for producers to sketch ideas and create complete tracks because it is integrated with the powerful MASCHINE software and provides sampling, a mixer, studio effects, and a vast sound library.
