The D’Angelico EXG200 was a grand auditorium-sized acoustic-electric guitar from the Excel series, featuring an all-solid wood construction with a solid Sitka spruce top and laminated macassar ebony back and sides. It was equipped with scalloped X-bracing for a rich, resonant tone and a Fishman Presys+ onboard preamp with a 3-band EQ for amplification, as well as mother-of-pearl inlays and the characteristic D’Angelico art deco headstock.
