HD Production Facility
Technical Specifications
The CenterStaging HD Production Facility is unique. Advanced
technology enables the cameras to be controlled robotically without operators
being physically located at camera positions in the studio. Cameras typically
are positioned on tripods or can be hung from the lighting grid (at 15 1/2 ft.
above the studio floor) or speed-rail, which is attached to the perimeter of
the studio (approx. 8 1/2 ft. above the studio floor). Also, cameras can be
mounted on a jib, dolly or used with a “studio configure” package which puts an
operator at the camera position. We currently have two (2) fully functional
digital HD production control rooms, five (5) APPLE FINAL CUT PROD HD edit suites and one (1) Audio Postproduction
finishing suite in our complement.

AUDIO:
Production Mixing Consoles - (4) YAMAHA
DM1000 (2) per control room enable the recording of both music mix and
dialogue. We are also capable of recording multi-track audio using NUENDO and often perform PRO TOOLS multi-track post audio mixes.

STUDIO SPECS:
CenterStaging operates
eleven (11) Multi-purpose Studios and one (1) 10,000 sq/ft SoundStage at our Burbank Facility. Studios 8-11 are capable of utilizing the
services of our HD Production Facility. Studio 8 (38’x60’) and Studio 9
(32’x38’) have black walls/floors. Studio 10 (38’x60’) and Studio 11 (50’x60’)
have grey walls/wood floors. PDF documents of these rehearsal studios are

TECHNICAL:
A customized AMX touch screen system controls the
robotic interface and overall functionality of our engineering infrastructure.
NVISION routers assist in routing audio and video signal
to our videotape record machines. A MADI interface delivers audio signals
from the studio to the control room and ultimately to videotape and multi-track
recorders.
POSTPRODUCTION:
A 150TB APPLE XSAN is used as storage allowing each of our five (5) APPLE FINAL CUT PRO HD edit suites to
access media instantly.
AUDIO POSTPRODUCTION:
A 30TB SAN is used as storage allowing the post audio mixers to
access media on/offline. We currently have one (1) functioning post audio
finishing bay featuring the use of NUENDO
and PRO TOOLS HD systems.
